The Process Of Installing A New Roof

Understanding the roofing process can help you ask the right questions and follow along when it comes time to choose the right roofing company. Here’s the general process that a roofing contractor will go through when installing a new roof.

CALL US TODAY

1. Remove and dispose of all the existing shingles or other roofing materials

2. Repair the wood underneath if necessary

3. Put down a layer of synthetic roofing underlayment

4. Install new valley flashing in needed areas

5. Put on the new tab shingles

6. Apply flashing in areas that are susceptible to leaks (skylights, stack vents, etc.)

7. Install the ridge vent along the peak of the roof

8. Do final clean up
